April 26, 2019

A powerful storm system took residents of Northern Louisiana by surprise during the overnight hours yesterday, spawning a series of powerful tornadoes, across both Louisiana and Texas. One of those tornadoes took direct aim at the small town of Ruston, Louisiana, just east of Shreveport, leaving the town in ruins.

Reports of significant property damage in Ruston have emerged from the EF3 tornado strike, and Geomni has initiated aerial imagery capture operations. Our flight team plans to capture imagery over the area to begin to assess the tornado's impact and help residents there begin the restoration process.
