Hurricane Lane is threatening nearly 50,000 houses in Hawaii. Even if the Category 4 cyclone’s eye does not reach land, major flooding, dangerous winds and landslides will still affect the islands. Some parts of Hawaii’s Big Island have already received 19 inches of rain in the last 24 hours. Should the trajectory of the storm continue, Hurricane Lane would become the first major hurricane to impact the islands in over 25 years.
To assist in damage restoration that may come as a result of the storm, Geomni has activated resources to conduct UAV inspections per customer requests for commercial or residential structures throughout the main islands across the state. UAV inspections can be ordered on a property-specific basis with imagery, measurements, 3D Sketch model, and all property information directly available with Xactimate.
