Catastrophe Update

Storm Watch

Geomni owns and operates our own fleet of fixed-wing aircraft strategically located throughout the U.S. to best serve our customers following a major catastrophe event.

November 25, 2018

The California Camp Fire has now been completely flown by Geomni. Imagery for the affected areas are being processed and will be available via the Geomni Web Viewer in the next few days.  It has been reported that this fire is now 100% contained.

November 19, 2018

As reported by several media outlets the Woolsey Fire is now 94% contained. Geomni has completed imagery capture for the affected areas and most, if not all, of the imagery is now available for customers via the Geomni Web Viewer.

Geomni continues to focus flight missions on the Camp Fire in Northern California. Dense smoke and low containment have made imagery capture challenging. We will continue to provide updates as available.

November 16, 2018

Woolsey Fire Update: Geomni aerial imagery flights have been completed for the entire Woolsey Fire area. The new imagery is available in the Geomni Web Viewer and with Geomni data package requests. Additional flight missions continue for fires in other parts of the state.

Geomni imagery from the California wildfires is now available. Geomni and Verisk customers can access the imagery via Geomni’s Web Viewer. Please reach out to your Verisk account executive for further details.
