It seems like there’s an app for just about everything these days – even for flying drones. Geomni’s latest app, Geomni Mobile, does just that and even more, all in an easy-to-use interface.

Available for iOS and Android users, Geomni Mobile puts the power of remote sensing into its users’ hands. Smartphones are transformed into powerful remote sensing devices, capable of capturing imagery, autonomous drone flights and acquiring the property data needed for complete measurement reports.

Capture Ground Imagery

Geomni Mobile helps capture imagery at ground level, which is helpful when there are no aerial images of the sides of a building, or when trees and other obstacles block the aerial views. This provides a complete view of all sides of the structure – even the hidden ones.

Start by taking a photo of one side of the building from within the app, and moving to the next side of the building, continue capturing images in order until all sides or a 360-degree view of the building has been obtained.

The images captured are synced to the Geomni cloud so detailed measurement reports for the building’s roof, siding, windows, doors, and other structural features can be generated.

Fly Drones Autonomously

In addition to its remote sensing capabilities, Geomni Mobile is also equipped with automated flight features to aid in flawless drone inspections.

The mobile app assists in creating preflight checklists, including obstacle avoidance, and generates an autonomous flight plan that helps execute the perfect flight mission.

High-resolution images captured from the drone go a long way in helping to identify damage on a roof, such as those caused by wind or hail storms.

Order Measurement Reports

There’s one more great feature about Geomni Mobile, and that is its ability for users to request Geomni Roof and Geomni Property data packages.

Both reports come with complete property measurements and dimensions, and both can be ordered directly through the Geomni Mobile app while on the go.

Best of all, Geomni Mobile is compatible with other Verisk tools, such as Xactimate®.
